Entry Requirements
Entry Requirements for International Students:
To gain entry to a course, applicants should have successfully completed year 12 or secondary studies in applicants home country equivalent to an Australian Year 11* or 12 qualification. (* Subject to the country Assessment Level and the course)

All International Students applying for all VET courses at ANC must have a minimum English Language proficiency level of one of the below:
- Have obtained an IELTS band score of at least 6.0 (Note: IELTS results are valid for two years, ref: How Long is the Validity of ILETS?)
- Have obtained 5.5 where the test score is combined with at least 10 weeks ELICOS;
- Have obtained 5.0 where the test score is combined with at least 20 weeks ELICOS
- Have completed a Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma level Training Package Course in Australia
- Have completed any Certificate III or Certificate IV in ESL or EAL from the ESL/EAL Framework (VIC)
- Have completed the ELICOS Course: General English | Intermediate Level
- Have a suitable level of language, literacy and numeracy to complete course requirement with or without additional support that ANC is able to provide
Transferring Students
International students who are currently enrolled with an academic institution across Australia and are requesting to enrol to another academic institution are generally categorised as ‘Transfer Students’. For this purpose, these students need to be released by their current Provider.
